Ghanaian midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, who plays for the Black Stars, recently met up with Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger in Spain for a friendly catch-up.
The two footballers, who have connections to Germany, spent time together and were seen enjoying drinks. Rudiger shared a photo of their encounter on Instagram, captioning it “with friends.”
Earlier this year, Kyereh suffered a cruciate ligament rupture during training, leading SC Freiburg, his club in the Bundesliga, to announce that he would miss the remainder of the season.
Unfortunately, this also meant he was unable to participate in Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Angola in March, and he will continue to be unavailable for the upcoming match against Madagascar in June.

Currently, Kyereh is focused on his recovery from the injury and is aiming to return in time for preseason training with Freiburg. The 26-year-old midfielder, formerly with St. Pauli, has made 12 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring two goals.
After signing a three-year contract with Freiburg in the summer, Kyereh had been making positive contributions to the team before his injury setback.
