Crystal Palace’s manager, Oliver Glasner, believes that Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp are talented enough to begin matches for The Eagles.

Ahead of their English Premier League clash against Newcastle United on Wednesday night at Selhurst Park, Glasner praised the abilities of the duo. Ayew and Schlupp, who have been regular starters for Crystal Palace, have seen less playing time under Glasner due to the emergence of talents like Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise, and the recent impressive performances by Jean-Philippe Mateta. Glasner commended both players’ quality and readiness to contribute from the start.

“I think we all agree with [Ebere] Eze, [JP] Mateta, and [Michael Olise],” said Glasner, highlighting the outstanding form of these three players. “Ebs scores goals, JP scores goals, Michael scores goals – and they assist.” Glasner also acknowledged the capabilities of Jeffrey Schlupp, Jordan Ayew, and Odsonne Edouard, stating that these three players could start every game because of their deserving quality and talent.

With the competition for starting spots increasing due to the impressive performances of other players, Ayew and Schlupp have faced reduced game time. However, Glasner’s recognition of their abilities suggests that they remain important assets for Crystal Palace. The manager’s praise indicates that despite the emergence of new talents, Ayew and Schlupp still possess the skills and potential to make significant contributions to the team.

Glasner’s comments reflect the depth of talent within the Crystal Palace squad, with multiple players capable of making an impact on the pitch. The manager’s acknowledgment of Ayew and Schlupp’s readiness to start demonstrates his confidence in their abilities and highlights the healthy competition for places within the team. As Crystal Palace prepares to face Newcastle United, Glasner’s words may serve as motivation for Ayew and Schlupp to prove their worth and reclaim their positions in the starting lineup.

In a league as competitive as the English Premier League, having a squad with depth and quality is crucial for success. Glasner’s recognition of Ayew and Schlupp’s potential to start games emphasizes the importance of having experienced players alongside emerging talents.

As Crystal Palace aims to secure positive results in the remainder of the season, Ayew and Schlupp’s contributions could prove invaluable in achieving their objectives.
