Czech Republic club FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim has successfully completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Stephen Badu Dankwa.
The 23-year-old midfielder has joined the club after leaving Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United at the end of the previous season.
Dankwa is expected to play a significant role for the Czech second-tier club as they aim for promotion to the top division.
Jan Jícha, the club’s sports director, expressed his satisfaction with the transfer, saying, “We are happy that we managed to bring the transfer to a successful conclusion and we hope that Stephen will show his qualities here and be a real reinforcement for us.”
Dankwa has already made his debut for FC Vlasim, helping them secure a 1-1 draw against Opava on Saturday.
During his time with Real Tamale United, Badu Dankwa was a key player, contributing 9 goals and 8 assists in 59 games.
His impressive performances at RTU also earned him a spot in the Black Galaxies due to his excellent form in the Ghanaian top-flight league.
