Ghanaian striker Kofi Kordzi has inked a one-year contract with Al-Tahaddy Sporting Club, a prominent club in the Libyan top-flight league.
This transfer materialized following the expiration of Kordzi’s contract with Legon Cities at the conclusion of the previous season.
Kordzi played a pivotal role in aiding Hearts of Oak in securing both the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup titles in 2021.
His remarkable performances earned him a spot in the Ghanaian home-based national team, where he exhibited his talent during the 2023 CHAN tournament held in Morocco.
The negotiation that facilitated Kordzi’s move to the Libyan top-flight was masterminded by Nana Kwarteng of Sports Light Consult.
Notably, this marks Kordzi’s second venture abroad, following his stint with Qatari side Muaither SC in 2020. However, he faced challenges in making a significant impact there, prompting his return to the Ghanaian top-flight after just one year.
