Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has emphasized his dedication to serving his country, pledging to give his best whenever called upon to join the Black Stars.
Although the team experienced an early exit from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at the conclusion of the group stage, Amartey, who did not start any of the three games, expressed no concerns and asserted his readiness to contribute in any capacity.
In an interview with Happy FM, the former Leicester City player issued a heartfelt apology to Ghanaians and extended gratitude for their support during the challenging 2023 AFCON group stage campaign.
“I love Ghana and whenever I am invited, I will come and play. We thank Ghanaians for supporting us. We are sorry things didn’t go as we wanted. All we can say is we thank them for supporting us,” Daniel Amartey said.
