Germany Bundesliga 2 side FC St Pauli coach Timo Schultz has described Ghanaian international Daniel Kofi Kyereh is one of the few players with exceptional skills in the team.
According Schultz, he is glad to have key Kofi-Kyereh back in the after the attacker exited the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in the first round with Ghana.
The St Pauli coach complained bitterly about the absence of the Ghanaian early this month as Pauli struggled to compete favorable in the Bundesliga 2.
St Pauli failed to win a single game out of three while the Ghanaian was on international duty with the four-time AFCON champions.
The Boys in Brown no longer occupy the top spot after two defeats and a draw in their last three matches without Kyereh though they beat Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal.
“I’m glad he’s back,” said Schultz after Keyreh rejoined the club last week following Ghana’s shock early exit.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian is expected to feature in his team’s game on the 5th of February against SC Paderborn.
