Danish Superliga side Lyngby Boldklub’s boss Nicas Kjeldsen is delighted with the recent signing of Ghanaian forward Malik Abubakari.
The Ghanaian forward had his first training session on Wednesday after joining is expected to be in the team for the upcoming games.
Kjeldsen heaped praises on Abubakari’s qualities, stating that the forward addresses some of the gaps in Lyngby’s attacking lineup.
“As a striker, Malik has a really exciting package. He can give us some of what we’ve been missing on the front line in terms of speed and deep runs,” Kjeldsen said. “It is not a one-on-one replacement for Andri, although Malik has some of the same ‘presence’ on the court. But Malik gives us a few more strings to play on and fits in well with our way of playing.”
He was pleased with the successful negotiation between Lyngby Boldklub and Malm FF for Abubakari’s transfer.
“We are happy that we have succeeded in making an agreement with Malik and Malmo about a transfer and look forward to seeing Malik with the Viking on his chest,” Kjeldsen added.
