Former Black Star and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper has disclosed who pressed on him to be a goal keepers’ trainer instead of a general coach.
Fatau Dauda who played under the tutelage of David Duncan at Ashantigold has praised his effect on his glowing carrier as a goalkeepers coach.
The former Enyimba goalie who had earlier intentions of being a general coach had to change his mind after the out-spoken coach discovered traits that would make him a good goalkeeper’s trainer
“Along the line Mr Fianoo came in as the CEO and Duncan also came in who also played much role in my carrier even after my football, he encourage me to be coach I told him I wanted to a general coach but he said no be a goal keepers coach because of your passion character and attitude but now is paying off” Fatau Dauda said on Joy News.
Fatau Dauda is currently serving as the assistant coach of Sudan and previously had stint with Right to dream Academy and the Black Satellites in his one and half year young carrier as goal keepers coach.
