Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere was the standout performer as Zhejiang Professional triumphed 3-1 over Wuhan Three Towns in the Chinese Super League on Tuesday morning.
Owusu-Sekyere, who played 86 minutes, scored twice and provided an assist in a dominant display at the Yellow Dragon Sports Center Stadium.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box, assisted by Leonardo. He doubled the lead in the 21st minute, finishing a precise through ball from Leonardo with a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner.
Wuhan Three Towns responded in the 23rd minute when Pedro Henrique scored from the center of the box, assisted by Deng Hanwen. However, Zhejiang restored their two-goal lead in the 51st minute when Leonardo found the net, set up by a clever pass from Owusu-Sekyere.
Owusu-Sekyere has now tallied seven goals and two assists in 13 games this season.
