Division Two outfit True Life FC delivered one of the biggest surprises of this year’s MTN FA Cup after securing a dramatic late 1–0 victory over giants Hearts of Oak.

Hearts controlled most parts of the match but struggled to make their dominance count in the final third. As the minutes ticked away without a breakthrough, the lower-tier underdogs grew in confidence and gradually pushed forward.

Their moment arrived deep into the second half when a rare attacking move was finished with precision, leaving Hearts fans stunned and sending the True Life bench into wild celebration.

The Phobians fought desperately through six minutes of added time, but a combination of missed chances and resolute defending from True Life sealed their early exit.

After the match, the Hearts camp expressed disappointment, noting that the defeat was a huge setback on a day that seemed full of promise.

The loss now shifts focus to their Ghana Premier League fixture against Karela United on December 7, where supporters will expect a strong response.
