Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has urged the Black Stars players to give their all at the AFCON as he believes playing for the National Team increases player value.
The PFC Ludogorets Razgrad attacker who played at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament under Avram Grant he advised the current players to do all they can for the nation.
According to him, as a player, your value increases when you don your national team jersey and play at tournaments such as the Africa Cup of Nations.
“Playing at the AFCON was one of the best moment In my career”, he said in an interview with Metro TV.
“Playing at AFCON makes your value higher so I urge the current players to give out their best”, Tekpetey added.
Black Stars are in Doha, Qatar, preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament which starts in January in Cameroon.
Ghana will face Morocco in the first Ghana before tackling Gabon and Comoros in the other group stage games.
