New Hapoel Tel Aviv signing Douglas Owusu says he is excited to begin a new chapter in his career, describing the Israeli club as a “huge club” and promising to give everything for the team.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian forward made the remarks after completing a four-year move from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade.
Owusu said the club’s passionate supporters played a major role in convincing him to make the switch.
“I am very excited to join this huge club. I saw the extraordinary displays of the crowd at the games.”
The Ghanaian attacker also pledged his commitment to helping the club achieve success.
“I believe that together with the team, we will fight and give everything for Hapoel.”
Owusu concluded by sending a message to the club’s fans ahead of the new season.
“I look forward to seeing you in Hungary. Come on Hapoel.”
The former Red Star Belgrade forward joins Hapoel Tel Aviv on a four-year contract after winning the Serbian league and cup double last season.
