The Secretariat of the West African Football Union Zone B has unveiled the logo for the 1st edition of the 2023 Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to take place in Kumasi, Ghana from May 20 to June 04, 2023.

The tournament, featuring seven countries, namely Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo, Burkina Faso, and the host country Ghana, is highly anticipated and expected to showcase the potential of emerging female footballers in the region. Additionally, it aims to promote women’s football across West Africa.

Two top-notch sports facilities have been chosen as venues for the competition. The Baba Yara Sports stadium, which can accommodate 40,528 spectators, and the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, will host some of the matches.
