Dreams FC’s trio of striker John Antwi, goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi and midfielder Emmanuel Agyei are named in the Best Xl of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals first leg.
Per Africa Soccer Zone, John Antwi is the man who leads the attack for their Best Xl of the quarter-finals first leg.
Dreams FC won 2-1 in Bamako on Sunday against Stade Malien in a fierce contest. The Still Believe went down earlier in the second half with Yoro Diaby scoring for the Maliens. Veteran John Antwi stepped up and scored twice to clinch a 2-1 first-leg win for Dreams.
In the goalkeeping role, Dreams FC’s goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi got the nod due to his excellent performances in Bamako which prevented Stade Malien from adding the 2nd goal.
Emmanuel Agyei was so superb as he dictated the game for Dreams FC in the midfield.
Zamalek, Rivers United and Berkane all got players in the Best Xl.
