Dutch-Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu signed off the Bundesliga season in style, scoring a brace to lead VfL Bochum to a 2-0 away win over St. Pauli on the final day of the campaign.
Despite the victory, Bochum’s fate had already been sealed, as they finished bottom of the table after 34 matches, confirming their relegation to the Bundesliga 2 for the upcoming season.
Boadu opened the scoring in the 10th minute and wrapped up the win in the 66th minute, showcasing his clinical touch in front of goal one last time this season.
The 24-year-old attacker has been one of Bochum’s few bright spots, scoring 9 goals and providing an assist in 20 appearances across all competitions.
Boadu joined Bochum on loan from French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco last summer, and with his loan set to expire in June, his future remains uncertain. Unless Bochum trigger the buy option in his contract, the forward could return to Monaco, where he is under contract until the summer of 2026.
