Ghanaian striker Ebenezer Assifuah stole the show in Kedah Darul Aman’s impressive 5-0 win over Bukit Tambun in the Malaysia FA Cup, scoring a hat trick to secure a comfortable victory.
The match, held at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar, saw Kedah dominate from the start, with Assifuah leading the charge.
The Ghanaian international opened his account in the 39th minute, adding to Kedah’s early lead established by Milos Gordic in the 15th minute. Amirul Hisyam Awang Kechik also got in on the action, scoring the team’s second goal in the 20th minute.
Assifuah then went on to complete his hat trick with goals in the 68th and 79th minutes, cementing Kedah’s place in the next round of the FA Cup.
Kedah Darul Aman’s dominant performance will now shift their focus to their upcoming Malaysia Super League match against Penang, looking to carry their winning momentum into the next game.
