Ghana youth international Emmanuel Yeboah registered his first goal of the season as CFR Cluj defeated UTA Arad in the Romanian top flight.
The 20-year-old came off the bench to score the final goal of the game as Cluj rallied from behind to win 3-1 at Arad’s Arena Francisc Neuman.
After 27 minutes of play, Godberg Cooper scored for the home team, before Daniel Biriligea equalised for Cluj.
Catalin Carp scored an own goal just before halftime to give Cluj the lead.
Yeboah was subsequently introduced in the second period and scored his team’s third goal with five minutes remaining.
The goal is the Ghanaian’s first of the 2023/24 Superliga season, and he hopes to score more for the team.
