English side Middlesbrough has confirmed the acquisition of English-born Ghanaian Tyrell Agyemang for the 2023/24 Championship season.
Boro have signed the 20-year-old on o a two-year contract with the option to extend for one more season.
Agyemang joins Michael Carrick’s side from Manchester City, where he was a crucial component in the U21’s Premier League 2 triumph.

During the 2022/23 season, the London-born defender made 13 appearances for City’s U-21s and provided two assists.
The teenager has decided to join Middlesbrough with the goal of playing first-team football next season, and the transfer was revealed on Tuesday, June 6.
