English Championship side Leicester City have according to reports turned down a last-minute invitation from the Ghanaian national team for youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku to join the Black Stars for Central African Republic game.
The reports suggest the teen sensation was given a late chance to join the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Central African Republic on Thursday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Issahaku recently joined Leicester City on loan from Sporting Lisbon and made a notable impression during his debut over the weekend.
