Manchester City are keen on signing Ghanaian teenager Henry Oware from West Africa Football Academy(WAFA) SC after beating Barcelona, Arsenal, Red Bull Salzburg and Lille to land the youngster according to local Media reports.
According to reports, the English giants are expected to sign the 18-year-old as he awaits the international approval before completing his move.
The City Football Group will pay €1 million (£840,000) to sign the highly-rated defender from the Ghanaian club as development fee to the Sogakope club.
Reports suggests that he will loaned loaned to City’s sister club Troyes in French Ligue 1 since Oware would not be eligible to play in England.
The Ghanaian teenager has played in eight league games so far this season in the Ghana Premier League 2021-22 season for the Academy Boys.
