Ghana’s rising star, Ernest Nuamah, has marked a significant achievement by becoming the fourth Ghanaian player to don the colors of the esteemed French club, Olympique Lyon.

This highly talented forward has recently inked a one-year loan agreement with the club, marking his transition from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland to RWD Molenbeek, before ultimately joining Olympique Lyon.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, August 30, the French powerhouse expressed their delight over the addition of Ernest Nuamah through a loan arrangement that extends until June 30, 2024. The statement read, “Eagle Football and Olympique Lyonnais are very pleased to announce the arrival of Ghanaian international striker, Ernest Nuamah, from RWDM, in the form of a loan until June 30, 2024.”

Ernest Nuamah’s journey to Lyon follows in the footsteps of Ghanaian football icons Abedi Pele, Michael Essien, and John Mensah, who have all left their mark on the club’s history.

Embracing his opportunity at Olympique Lyon, Ernest Nuamah is filled with enthusiasm and a strong desire to showcase his exceptional qualities to the world.

His remarkable spell with FC Nordsjaelland culminated in being honored as the best player at the conclusion of the 2022/23 football season, further solidifying his reputation as a burgeoning talent in the sport.
