Black Stars winger, Ernest Nuamah made his first debut in the French League One as his club Lyon lost 4-1 to Paris Saint Germain.
Ernest Nuamah started the game in his Lyon debut in a three man attack alongside Tino Kadewere and Rayan Cherki.
The Ghanaian teenager was hoping for a better debut game but there were not a match for Paris Saint Germain who humiliated them 4-1 at their own backyard.
A brace from Kylian Mbappe and a goal each from Marco Asensio and Achraf Hakimi in the first half was enough for Paris Saint Germain to win the game despite Lyon’s improved performance in the second half.
Lyon were the better side in the second half but could only grab a consolation goal from their dominance through Corentin Tolisso’s 74th minute penalty.
Ernest Nuamah who performed above average on his debut was substituted in the 76th and was replaced with Jeffinho.
Nuamah was rated 6.5 making him Lyon’s 4th best player in the game against Paris Saint Germain.
