Kwame Adom Frimpong, the midfielder, has successfully finalized his transfer to the Ethiopian Premier League champions, St. George SA. The club has officially announced the completion of the deal.
The 26-year-old has committed to a two-year contract with the Horsemen and was formally introduced by the club on Friday in Addis Ababa.
Coming to Ethiopia on a free transfer following his departure from Aduana Stars at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, the central midfielder brings his talents to St. George SA.
Adom Frimpong, previously associated with Dalkurd in Sweden, is anticipated to contribute his wealth of experience to the Ethiopian club as they aim for championship victories in the upcoming season.
Having played 30 matches and netted three goals in the Ghana Premier League during the last term, Adom Frimpong’s expertise is expected to bolster St. George’s efforts to both defend their Ethiopian Premier League title and secure a position in the CAF Champions League group stages in the upcoming campaign.
This transfer also brings Adom Frimpong alongside former Asante Kotoko and Liberty Professionals player Edwin Frimpong Manso, who serves as the captain of St. George, making them teammates on this new journey.
