Al Hilal, the prominent Sudanese football club, has included their recent acquisition, Basit Seidu, in their roster for the upcoming 2023/24 CAF Champions League campaign.
Just last week, the club unveiled the signing of the talented young striker, who hails from Ghana and previously played for Premier League side Accra Lions FC.
Impressed by the evident quality that Basit Seidu brings to the table, Al Hilal has swiftly integrated him into their plans, officially including him in their squad for the forthcoming CAF Champions League season.
Aged 19, Basit Seidu is among the two Ghanaians named in Al Hilal’s squad. The other Ghanaian representation comes from midfielder David Abagna.
Notably, the former Ashanti Gold SC player showcased his skills impressively with the Sudanese giants in the previous season, emerging as one of the most captivating players on the field.
For the upcoming CAF Champions League season, David Abaga will don the number 8 jersey, while the talented teenager has been honored with the Number 7 jersey as he embarks on this new chapter of his football journey.
