Former Black Star Goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda has extolled the professionalism at the Relegated club during his time with the club.

During an interview with Muftawu Nabila on Joy News, the former Enyimba shot stopper applauded the club on how they treated the players with regards to their financial responsibilities towards the club.

“Every month your salary will come, your bonus unless you don’t win match Ashgold you can even win match and your bonus is there and the following day they will bring your bonus because is a well-structured club that time, they will do the bonuses if you don’t win, they will take the bonuses back to the company, they divide it by thirty matches … so I was feeling comfortability where you sleep you don’t pay light bill, water bill nothing twenty-four hours electricity”

Fatau Dauda was a household hold name in the Ghanaian premier league during his time with the Obuasi based club when they won the Ghana premier League in 2015.

Ashantigold Sc have been relegated to division two of lower tier football after a match fixing scandal against Inter Allies in the 2021/2022 season.
