Former Asante Kotoko striker, Stephen Manu has urged the Ghana Football Association to postpone the start of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League.
Stephen Manu believes that the players are not ready ad they will need enough time to prepare for the upcoming session.
Manu who used Asante Kotoko as a case study said the players will need at least a month more to prepare adequately for the season coming.
“Asante Kotoko players lack match fitness and they need another month for preseason” he said.
“The players are not prepared for the upcoming season so if the league can be postponed for the players to prepare very well for the season” Manu said in an interview with Kessben FM.
The start of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League is still in limbo as Ashantigold has placed an injunction on it.
