Ghanaian defender Abdul Baba Rahman, has been given the go-ahead by Chelsea to make a return to Reading on loan, sportsworldghana.com can exclusively report.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the 27-year-old was surplus to requirements at Chelsea and was not registered in their squad for the season.
Hence, a move away was the only option for Rahman and after discussions with some suitors, the Blues will now allow Rahman to return to Reading for another season.
The former Mallorca man played for Reading during the 2021/22 campaign where he established himself as one of the club’s top performers.
