Ghana captain Andre Ayew opened his goal account for Al Sadd SC in their second win of the season in Qatar on Tuesday evening.
The 33-year-old Ghana forward scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors ahead after just 17 minutes into the game.
He finished off brilliantly after receiving a through ball from the right side of attack and slotted the ball past the goalkeeper into the bottom left corner.
The hosts, Al Sailiya equalized just before the two teams headed to the break after a fine passage of play with a fine finish to restore parity.
Baghdad Bounedjah grabbed the winning goal for the Black and Whites outfit as they won on the road with a 2-1 score line.
