Roma have identified Lyon and Ghanaian attacker, Ernest Nuamah as a potential target for the summer transfer window, as the Italian club looks to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.
The Giallorossi are seeking to revamp their roster with younger top prospects, and Nuamah’s versatility and adaptability to Roma’s 4-3-3 set-up make him an attractive option.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma have added Nuamah’s name to their list of targets, following the departure of Daniele De Rossi and the arrival of Federico Chiesa.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian winger has already gained experience in the French top flight with Lyon, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists in 29 appearances.
Nuamah’s ability to play on both wings makes him a valuable asset for Roma, who are looking to accommodate De Rossi’s preferred 4-3-3 set-up.
Despite his relatively high price tag, the player is seen as a good opportunity for the Giallorossi to bring in a younger, top-prospect player who can help shape the team’s future.
