Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have agreed a deal to sign a player of Hearts of Oak SC midfield-gem Sulley Ali Muntari calibre, Emmanuel Adebayor, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm exclusively.

The Porcupine Warriors aimed at bringing a former top player to the club to compete with their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak to prove who can attracts big names to their ranks.

Sportsworldghana.com can confirm exclusively that, the former Real Madrid, Arsenal FC, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City Super star has agreed to join the Red and Whites outfit for a short stint next season.

According to our trusted sources closer to the player, the Togolese will not sign a long term contract with the Ghana Premier League side as he feels a short term contract is ideal for both parties.

Muntari’s inclusion for Hearts has attracted many people to the Rainbow Boys club and their direct competitors have decided to bring a player they believe has had a great impact in the world of football.

Sportsworldghana.com understands that, the Porcupine Warriors have only agreed to sign Adebayor to prove to their arch rivals that they can do everything better than them by bringing in a player they believe have had a better career compared to the Ghana legend Sulley Muntari.

He played 10 clubs in his career and also played at the FIFA World Cup tournament once in 2006 in Germany when Togo qualified for their first and only FIFA World Cup tournament.

He will join Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC on a short term deal in the 2022 – 23 Ghana Premier League season.
