English League 2 side Colchester United are set to hand Ghanaian attacker Kwesi Appiah a permanent deal.
Appiah is on loan at the League 2 side from Crawley Town and has already netted twice in six games.
Preliminary talks are said to have taken place and a lasting move could be sealed for the veteran attacker even in January 2023.
Appiah is not in the plans of the Crawley Town Technical team for now and a permanent move away could be an ideal solution.
Appiah has already played for clubs including Crystal Palace, Cambridge United and a host of others.
His loan deal with Colchester was expected to expire in the summer of 2023.
