Danish Superliga side Viborg FF have reached agreement with B.93, for the transfer of Danish-born Ghanaian forward Osman Abdulkadir Addo, Sportsworldghana.com can report exclusively.
Addo, 21 takes a big step in his career and makes a move from the second-best league, B.93, to Viborg.
Tipsbladet reported that the Viborg team is just a few steps away from buying the 21-year-old quirky winger, who has long been teasing his opponents in the 1st division.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Viborg will pay 100,000 euros, 750,000 kroner, for its new dribbler, who will receive a 4.5-year contract in the cathedral city until the summer of 2030.
The Dane only had half a year left on his contract in B.93, which is why Viborg has made a good deal on a player who would otherwise have had a much greater value due to his potential, his performances and his young age.
There were many interest and offers for Osman Addo from several quarters in this and recent transfer window. Sønderjyske had held negotiations for Addo, but they lost him to Viborg.
Meanwhile, Tipsbladet reported recently that Polish major club Legia Warsaw had come to Denmark to watch him in a match against Kolding IF, just as Lech Poznan had been keeping an eye on him.
Osman Addo had also made a name for himself by being the player in the second-best league in Denmark with the most successful dribbles.
