World football governing body FIFA has showed no mercy to relegated Rwandan Premier League club Gicumbi FC as they have been ordered to pay Ghanaian second division side Naajo Royals FC an amount of 30 Million Rwandan Francs which is equivalent to $30,000.
The directive from FIFA came after Naajo Royals reported Gicumbi FC to FIFA for signing and registering their player though he was under contract.
Gicumbi who are in no position to pay the amount are said to have pleaded with the Rwanda Football Federation to intercede on their behalf.
Gicumbi were relegated from the Rwandan premier league last season after finishing last with only twelve points.
