Exclusive: Ghanaian striker Faris Moumouni joins Augsburg

Ghanaian centre-forward Faris Moumouni has signed for German Bundelsiga club Augsburg on a three-year deal.

Moumouni, 20, moved from Holstein Kiel as a free agent following the expiration of his contract. He netted four goals in 12 games in te 2022/23 season

The budding striker will feature for Augsburg’s second team in the Regionalliga before he progresses to the senior side.

Born to Ghanaian parents in Germany, Moumouni is yet to be capped by both countries at any level
