Hearts of Oak have begun talks with former Asante Kotoko midfielder Enoch Morrison, with a view to signing the 24-year-old player.
Morrison was recently released by Kotoko despite being one of their standout performers last season.
According to reports, the two parties have reached a verbal agreement, and the Phobians are now looking to negotiate personal terms with the talented midfielder. If successful, Morrison would become one of Hearts of Oak’s key signings ahead of the new season.
Morrison’s impressive form for Kotoko in his two seasons with the club cannot be ignored. In his first season, he made 31 appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
He continued to excel in his second season, featuring in 22 matches and scoring once while providing two more assists.
The acquisition of Morrison would be a significant coup for Hearts of Oak, who are looking to revamp their squad after a disappointing campaign last season.
