Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm that Hisense Ghana has successfully reached an agreement with Asante Kotoko SC to extend their sponsorship contract.
This development comes on the heels of productive negotiations with the Interim Management Committee (IMC) in recent weeks.
The original three-year sponsorship deal, which marked Hisense as the club’s primary sponsor, had concluded at the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.
This renewal underscores the mutually advantageous partnership that has thrived between these two entities over the past three years.
Under the stewardship of Nana Yaw Amponsah, Hisense, a prominent Chinese multinational electronics manufacturer, became the club’s official electronics partner at the commencement of the 2020/21 season. The agreement, valued at GH₵3 million annually in both cash and product contributions from the electronics giant, solidified their association with Kotoko. Additionally, Hisense provided products worth GH₵230,000 to outfit Kotoko’s Adako Jachie training facility.
Reliable sources within Sportsworldghana have affirmed that Hisense has agreed to renew this sponsorship for an additional three years. The official unveiling of this renewal is scheduled for the upcoming weekend, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
In the prior sponsorship arrangement, Hisense prominently showcased its logo on the team’s jerseys and within the stadium during matches, thereby garnering significant exposure for their products and services.
