German born Ghanaian defender Mordecai Boahene Zuhs has earned the praise of Rot-Weis Ahlen head coach Andreas Zimmerman following an impressive trial.

Zuhs, 19, plays for the Borussia Mönchengladbach’s U23s but recently started trials with Ahlen and impressed coach Zimmerman greatly with his contract with Monchengladbach likely to be an obstacle for a move.

“Mordecai presented himself really well,” praises Zimmermann, who still leaves his door open for a commitment: “He’s only 19 years old and still capable of development, but he also still has a contract. But we also speak to him with other players.”

Zuhs, is the junior brother of former Kotoko and Black Satellites winger Kwame Boahene as well as the cousin of Sports writer Edmund Okai Gyimah.
