Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori has turned down a fresh contract at Orlando Pirates.
The contract of the agile shot stopper expires on June 30, 2023 but he has refused extension.
Sportsworldghana.com can reveal that the money being offered by the club for the two-year extension is below Ofori’s expectation and he has asked for an increment before he signs.
The club is weighing options whether to top up the amount or make the keeper leave when his contract expires in June.
He joined Pirates from Maritzburg in 2020 and has made 55 appearances for the club, keeping 28 clean sheets and conceding 35 goals.
