Ghana international Tariqe Fosu is set to permanently leave Premier League side Brentford during the summer transfer window, Sports World Ghana understands.
The versatile forward has struggled to fit into the team since their promotion to the English top flight at the end of the 2020/21 Championship season.
Tariqe has had to enjoy loan spells away from the club as a result of his lack of game time with the Bees. In their maiden season, the Ghanaian only featured in one Premier League game, playing just 16 minutes.
The 27-year-old joined Stoke City in a loan deal ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season. However, the player returned to Brentford again in January and was subsequently loaned out again.
In the second half of the season, the Ghanaian has enjoyed game time with Championship side Rotherham United where he racked up 19 appearances scoring one and providing two assists for the club.
Tariqe is however expected to return to Brentford at the end of the season where he will ask to leave the club for good.
