Bibiani GoldStars head coach, Stephen Frimpong Manso, has praised the club’s loyal fans for their vital role in maintaining the team’s unbeaten home record in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Miners have collected an impressive 13 points out of a possible 15 at the DUN’s Park, with five home games under their belt. Currently leading the league table with 19 points from nine matches, GoldStars’ strong start has been largely attributed to their dedicated fan support.
In an interview with Joy Sports, Frimpong Manso highlighted the influence of their supporters in sustaining this remarkable home record.
“Winning at home is crucial, and we’re committed to keeping that going,” he said. “Our fans are fully behind us, and with their support, we’ll continue to give our best.”
Beyond fan support, GoldStars have shown strength in both attack and defense, scoring nine goals — the second highest in the league — and conceding among the fewest. Frimpong Manso noted that the team’s balanced approach has been instrumental in their success so far.
“Our stats show we’re strong both offensively and defensively,” he added. “This encourages us to keep improving. I’m pleased with what we’ve achieved.”
As they prepare for an away clash against Young Apostles at the Wenchi Sports Stadium in their upcoming match, GoldStars are aiming to extend their unbeaten streak and solidify their top position in the league.
