Portuguese giant Sporting CP Lisbon has confirmed that Ghana youngster, Fatawu Issahaku Abdul will join the first team for the upcoming summer pre-season training.
The 18-year-old versatile forward joined the Green and Whites outfit on a five-year deal from Ghana Division One League Zone One side Steadfast FC.
He won the CAF Youth Africa Championship player of the 2021 tournament in Mauritania.
“At least pre-season will do. We believe him for what we have seen, we have called him. He made a small adaptation in the B team for him to grow physically and adapt to the life and way of being of the club, which is transversal from the B team to the A team.”
