Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi has extended his stay with Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjaelland until the summer of 2030.
The 19-year-old, a graduate of Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy, has been one of the club’s standout performers since breaking into the senior team. He has made 29 league appearances and earned six international caps for the Black Stars.
Nordsjaelland’s football director, Alexander Riget, praised Yirenkyi’s impressive growth and professionalism, describing him as one of the best midfielders in the Danish league. He said the young Ghanaian has developed “through fantastic mentality and hard work every single day,” which has earned him the new deal.
Although the extension adds only six months to his previous contract, the club says it reflects their confidence in his long-term potential and leadership on the pitch.
So far this season, Yirenkyi has featured 12 times, showcasing his composure, energy, and creativity in midfield—qualities that have made him an integral part of the Nordsjaelland squad.
The deal also highlights the ongoing success of the partnership between FC Nordsjaelland and Ghana’s Right to Dream Academy, which continues to produce exceptional Ghanaian talents making their mark in European football.
