In the wake of the Black Stars’ poor showing at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation, Ghana has dropped lower in the latest FIFA world rankings for February.
Ghana had their worst performance in the continental showpiece in Cameroon, losing to Morocco and Comoros while the draw against Gabon was the only game they took away a point.
The Black Stars exited the tournament in the group stage as they finished bottom in Group C.
Following the an abysmal campaign, Ghana have dropped to the 61st in the global rankings, after previously occupying the 52nd position.
The latest ranking also reveals the Stars are no more ranked among the top 10 on the continent, moving to 11th place.
