Nigeria Football Federation Media officer Ayo Olu Ibidapo has stated that the Super Eagles of Nigeria need qualification for the World Cup more than the Black Stars of Ghana.
Ghana, four-time African Champions will host Nigeria in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff on March 25 at the Cape Coasts Stadium.

The second leg fixture comes of on March 29, 2022, at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The Super Eagles are expected to arrive in Ghana with a chartered flight on Wednesday 23, 2022 for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ibidapo told Oyerepa FM, “”We have already started serious preparations for the game against Ghana. We will arrive in Ghana with a Chartered flight.”
“Nigerians need this World Cup more than Ghana, that Golden team of Ghana is appreciated and respected though. There is no Asamoah Gyan in the Ghana squad.
“For now, we Nigerians know that the match will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium so we are preparing for the game to be played there.”
