Augustine Eguavoen, interim manager for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has announced a strong squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers play-off double legged tie against Ghana.
The squad is dominated by players who made Super Eagles for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
Leicester City winger Ademola Lookman has been invited weeks after he was cleared by FIFA to represent Nigeria having played for England at youth level.
Meanwhile, Chidozie Awaziem, Taiwo Aoniyi, Paul Onauchu, Jamilu Collins and Ogeni Onazi make the standby list.
The Black Stars will hosts the Super Eagles in Cape Coast on March 24, 2022 before traveling to Abuja for the second leg in three days times.
The two-time African Champions are hoping to make it a seventh appearance at the Mundial, while Ghana is chasing a fourth participation after missing the tournament in 2018.
Both team suffered early exit at the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana getting eliminated at the group stage.
