Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru again was in top-form for RSC Anderlecht as he helped them to secure their place in the Belgian Cup final on Thursday night.
The Belgian giants posted a commanding 3-1 victory against KAS Eupen at the Lotto Park to seal their spot in the final of the cup competition.
Panama defender Michael Murillo opened the scoring of the match to put the hosts ahead as early as the 4th minute as he was set up by Lior Rafaelov.
Eupen restored parity five minutes later through Bosnian midfielder Smail Prevljak but Lisandro Magallan restored the advantage for Anderlecht before the break.
Ivory Coast forward Christian Kouakou Kouame sealed the victory for the Royals just a minute into the second half with another assist from Rafaelov.

Vincent Kompany’s team progressed to the final of the competition with a 5-3 aggregate and will play against KAA Gent on April 16, 2022 at the Ghelamco Arena.
Ghanaian youngster Isaac Nuhu featured for Eupen but was sent off in the 89th minute following a second caution.
Meanwhile, Ghana international goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen was between the sticks for the visitors as they exited the Belgian Cup.
