Ghana assistant coach, George Boateng is in Ghana for Nigeria showdown this Friday in the first leg of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs in Kumasi.
The Aston Villa U23 head coach is part of the interim coaching team for the Black Stars for the games against the Super Eagles on March 25 and 29.
He was appointed as the first assistant coach for Ghana’s senior national team of Ghana following the sacking of Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac.
He arrived in Ghana on Sunday ahead of the crucial match as Ghana hope to make a return to the world cup cup after missing the last edition in Russia.
