Finnish club SJK Akatemia have confirmed the signing of promising Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Asante Jnr in a move that marks a major milestone in the youngster’s developing career.
The 18-year-old has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year after completing his transfer from Ghanaian side Rumark Football Academy.
Asante Jnr, who hails from Otumi in the Kwaebibirim District of Ghana’s Eastern Region, is widely regarded as one of the emerging talents in Ghana’s school football system.
The midfielder first gained attention during his time at TI AMASS, where his technical ability, creativity and composure in midfield made him stand out at youth level.
