Spartanii Sportul, a Moldovan Superliga club, has completed the signing of former Asante Kotoko winger, Isaac Oppong, as a free agent.
The 21-year-old attacker was released by the Ghanaian giants after a disappointing season, which saw him make 15 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
Oppong’s departure from Asante Kotoko was a result of the club’s decision to revamp their squad after a disappointing season.
The former Ghana Premier League winner was shown the exit door alongside other players who were not deemed part of the club’s plans.
However, the young winger has found a new home in Chișinău, Moldova, where he will be playing for Spartanii Sportul under the management of former Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
Oppong passed his mandatory medical before putting pen to paper on his contract with the Moldovan club.
