Former Ghana international Andy Yiadom has signed a five-month contract with English side AFC Wimbledon, keeping him at the club until January 2027.
The 34-year-old right-back, who can also operate as a wing-back, joins Wimbledon after training with the club for several weeks. Yiadom brings a wealth of experience, having made nearly 400 English Football League appearances during spells with Barnet, Barnsley and Reading.
Speaking after completing the move, Yiadom expressed his excitement about the new challenge.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to play for Wimbledon and I’m ready to give my all for the team,” he said.

Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson praised the former Black Stars defender, describing him as a player who adds valuable experience, leadership and defensive cover to the squad.
Yiadom, who earned 24 caps for Ghana and represented the Black Stars at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, will now look to use his experience to help AFC Wimbledon during the first half of the 2026/27 campaign.
